BILL MEMORIAL LIBRARY NOW OFFERS DOWNLOAD AUDIOBOOKS, eBOOKS, MUSIC, AND VIDEO

Bill Memorial Library, 240 Monument Street in the City of Groton, has expanded its services with audiobooks, eBooks, music, and video, available to download from the library's website. Library card holders can check out and download digital media anytime, anywhere by visiting http://libraryconnection.lib.overdrive.com.

Users may browse the library's website, check out with a valid card, and download to PC, Mac, and many mobile devices. Users will need to install free software. For audiobooks, music, and video: OverDrive Media Console. To read eBooks, users need Adobe Digital Editions. Titles can be enjoyed immediately or transferred to a variety of devices, including iPod, Sony Reader, Kindle, and many others. Titles will automatically expire at the end of the lending period. There are no late fees!

Having recently been selected as the 2012 Winner of the Excellence in Public Library Service Award, this is another exciting opportunity for the library to provide cutting edge library service to our patrons.

This is a new service, sponsored by Library Connection and powered by OverDrive, and is free for patrons with their library card. The Bill Memorial Library is located in the City of Groton adjacent to Fort Griswold. Hours are Monday and Thursday 10-9: Tuesday and Wednesday 10-5; and Saturday 10-3.
